This lesson is an introduction on the principles of electromagnetism. It first goes over how electromagnets are created using solenoids and the relationship between electricity and magnetism. It also goes over how we used electromagnets in our everyday lives. The worksheet follows the power point presentation. The laboratory teaches students how they can create their own electromagnet using classroom materials.
