This inquiry laboratory experience over electromagnets is directly aligned to Next Generation Science Standard MS-PS2-3 (or 07-PS2-3 if you're in Kentucy).
In this lab, students will play around with different materials to discover how to build an electromagnet, how to change its strength, and what it interacts with. They will also compare their designs to others, and answer rigorous analysis questions.
