Use these cards to play games that get kids thinking about elements.
One idea: What Element Am I?
Tape a card to the back of each child. Give each child a sheet that has questions they can ask about their element (on one side) and a periodic table (on the other side) for reference.
Have the students ask each other questions about their element until they are able to figure out what element they are!
Sentence starters for the game might be:
- What is my atomic number?
- What is my symbol?
- What is my atomic mass?
- How many protons do I have?
- Am I a noble gas?
