This is a highly interactive activity that can be used to introduce, review, or assess students knowledge of elements on the periodic table. This activity covers: periods vs groups, metals vs nonmetals vs metalloids, properties of elements, elements symbols, and protons vs neutrons vs electrons.
Students are given two dice. One dice is a normal 6 sided dice. The other has 6 different elements on the periodic table. Students roll both dices and complete the required task. The directions are given to the student on the handout.
***If you wish for me to send you a set of the 3D printed element dice (this includes 12 dice, each with 6 different elements on it, and 12 regular dice), please email me with your contact information and I will ship them to you for a fee of $10.00.
