This is a quick, fun add-on project to my Introduction to Atoms Unit. Students are given three (or more) elements to complete a mini-poster on. They have to write the atomic number, symbol, name, and atomic mass; calculate the protons, neutrons and electrons; identify the group and period, and draw the Bohr model and Lewis Dot diagram for their elements.

I like to use their projects as a fun bulletin board for the first 20 elements!

Looking for the complete unit lesson to go with this? I've got you covered!
