Use the Elements 1-92 FREE document for printing square to give the students.
This is a 3-5 day project for researching an element and creating a square that could be made into a class Periodic Table.
For teachers with over 92 Chemistry/ICP students, you can make an intra-classroom competition for the best element squares in head-to-head format. For teachers with less than 92 students for 92 elements, you could consider creating just a part of the Periodic Table. You can make the entire table over a couple years, then, if desired.
I have included things that make the project run more smoothly in Teacher's Notes in this document as well as two photographs of a few final products (good and bad) and the 1-92 Periodic Table on our wall.
The document is in MS Word format so you can edit freely. I just ask you don't re-post it!
