Use the Elements 1-92 FREE document for printing square to give the students.
This is a 3-5 day project for researching an element and creating a square that could be made into a class Periodic Table.
For teachers with over 92 Chemistry/ICP students, you can make an intra-classroom competition for the best element squares in head-to-head format. For teachers with less than 92 students for 92 elements, you could consider creating just a part of the Periodic Table. You can make the entire table over a couple years, then, if desired.
I have included things that make the project run more smoothly in Teacher's Notes in this document as well as photographs of a few final products (good and bad) and an extremely basic assessment to help hold students accountable as they do the project.
The document is in MS Word format so you can edit freely. I just ask you don't re-post it!
* I have added a file in TpT that has elements 93-118 since they now have names/symbols!
