This activity was designed for lower elementary students to help get them familiar with the difference between geometric and organic shapes. Along the way they learn about Frank Stella and his abstract art.
The students had a great time with this lesson and knew the difference between what a shape is and what it is not, and what the difference between geometric and organic shapes is by the end of it. This lesson includes your Learning Goal and Scale for Kindergarten and can be easily adapted for First and Second grade.
My teaching schedule allows me to see each class once a week. The teaching duration reflects this schedule. Thanks for stopping by my store. Please let me know if you have any questions.
