After having students follow the directions on the dice drawing sheet, students can use their choice of media to finish their art. For example, when I taught this art lesson, students created a texture with a crayon rubbing right over their pencil drawing. They outlined their drawing with a black sharpie marker; next, they used oil pastels to color in a few of the bold-colored shapes and finally painted a watercolor resist over the entire picture. You will get instructions for this lesson along with 3 different choices for labels and rubrics to finish the lesson off.

This activity was a big hit with my students! Simple to implement and lots of fun. Love that it's a guided activity while still allowing for imagination and creativity to shine through. The rubrics and labels are a great addition, and the finished products look great on display. A++

The excitement over rolling dice for a project is real. Love that they all come out so differently.

Love these roll-and-draw activities. I can't get enough of them. My students always enjoy them and it's a great lesson to leave for subs.
