Career and technical education is a key component of the primary school experience. It is important to start career awareness and exploration early.
This purchase is for an elementary career I Have, Who Has activity. I Have, Who Has is an engaging game that introduces students to an array of careers.
Simply, print, cut and laminate the “I have, Who has” cards. Keep the “1” card for yourself; this is the card that starts the game. Hand out the rest of the cards to the students. Make sure that all the cards are handed out; even if that means some students have multiple. Read the first card aloud which states that you’re starting the game and asks who has the person who helps us learn. The person with the teacher card will respond by reading their card aloud and so on and so forth until you have been through all the cards.
There are 28 cards (including the first and last card) with an array of careers including: reporter, judge, mail carrier, zookeeper, doctor, pilot, soldier, carpenter, and many more.
This is a great game for career awareness or a community helpers unit. Students are engaged because it’s a game and also they have to pay close attention and listen so they know when it is their turn.
