4 separate fitness puzzles including pictures of exercises (cardiovascular, muscular strength/endurance, and flexibility).
Print on thicker cardstock and outline the puzzle pieces with a sharpie black marker before cutting and laminating.
Allow students to work together in small teams to accomplish the task of putting the puzzle together and doing the exercises!
I use this activity as a "warm-up" for my Modified PE class. I group students into 2-4 and place the puzzle pieces on the opposite side of the gym. Students take turns (relay style) running to the other side of the gym, grabbing one of their puzzle pieces, racing back to their group and performing the exercise before another student runs.
