This book will tackle the basics of graphing in Quadrant 1 using very simple language and the (run, then jump) method. Graph puzzles are also simplified, with the graph and coordinates on the same page… thus enabling the PDF pages to be used easily on an annotating tablet app like Skitch, Notability, ShowMe, or Educreations. Your purchase gives you the rights to share both paper and digital copies, including posting them on whatever secure LMS you are using.
Each section of this book contains an introductory module that walks students through a new skill, scaffolds them with practice, and offers a small key for them to check their progress. Puzzles are then ordered in increasing difficulty, with the exception of the Graphing ABC’s section that is listed in alphabetical order. Sections 1 and 2 are considered “easy” for an elementary audience (target would be 3rd or 4th grade reading level, but high-flyers at younger grades are likely ready for the content as well!). Section 3 adds decimals and is at a “medium” level, graphing not just whole numbers, but 0.5 increments as well. Section 4 is considered “difficult”, as it teaches Quadrants 2, 3 and 4 individually.
