    ★★★★★Musical Instruments Studies★★★★★

    How The Game is Played:

Phase 1. Students sing a short melody on the map pitch holds them, (Do Re Mi So & La Melody) and the lyrics obtain a clue as to which instrument they are about to find will be.

Phase 2. Students will see a landscape full of animals, and like the game "I Spy" they will try and spot the hidden treasure chest.

Phase 3. Students will guess what Instrument they think is inside the chest (Thinking back to the lyrics on the map)

Phase 4. The Instrument is then revealed to the students. Students can then ask questions about the instrument before moving on to find the next missing Instrument!

This is a GREAT lesson plan for students to see visually what the instruments are as they are forced to actively look for them in a game of I Spy, and figure out what they will be! Multiple visual aids, and analogies are demonstrated in this Slide Show to guarantee a complete and full understanding of what the instrument is. But more importantly this will also guarantee your students will be able to identify instruments when engaging in their listening activities!
