These are a great way to start your Elementary Music class by having your students do a vocal warm up!
You can start them by playing a slide whistle to follow the shape of the line, and they can use their voice to mimic, until they are able to read the shapes themselves.
These create different scenarios based on different seasons, for the kids to enjoy as they are warming up their voices for music class :)
To enhance reading skills, have the students read each scenario with you before the activity. Discuss vocabulary, background, history, etc. on the scenarios!
Each vocal warm up can be used for any duration, during each season, holiday or particular time of the school year.
