What a FUN way to use TECHNOLOGY in your recorder classroom! Designed for beginning recorder players.
THIS FILE SHOULD TAKE YOU THROUGH AN ENTIRE YEAR OF RECORDER CLASS! This is based off of an elementary music class meeting once per week throughout the school year. As you will read below, there are plenty of activities to keep the beginning recorder student occupied throughout the year.
I allow copies to be made of the book, but please don't redistribute to other instructors.
Because I allow multiple copies to be made of this book, you do NOT have to charge your students for books once it's time to order recorder materials! I made this product to be used in my own school, which is 90% free and reduced lunch status. Most of my students can't afford a book, and some not even a recorder. This also defeats the cost on the school- all they will provide is the copy paper and ink.
Download the preview file to see a sample of all 37 PDF Pages of the book. Zoom for extra detail. Some items may space oddly in the sampler (Get Ready for B, Get Ready for G), but are accurately spaced in the book.
This is a downloadable zip file containing the “Think ‘QR’ Ready for Recorder?” method book, (37 PDF Pages), and a classroom presentation for Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote.
In the book you will find my original creations along with playful public domain favorites such as Mary Had a Little Lamb, Hot Cross Buns, Au Claire de la Lune and Down by the Station Each of the 33 songs, along with the 16 rhythm examples has its own QR code linked to my YouTube channel with 52 FREE video examples to show in class, or for students to watch at home.
You can ABSOLUTELY use this book without the need for the QR codes. If you would like to access the videos, please visit my YouTube channel, links in the download file.
