Elementary Word Problems using a Visual Drawing Box
Share

Description

Seven pages; 31 word problems of addition and subtraction. Elementary math using numbers 1 - 10. Each page uses numerical and written numbers to improve identifying numbers. A picture box is used for drawing the number of objects in the math problem. Visual cueing then helps the student see what is added or subtracted from the objects. . This helps students build their math equations. Drawing increases instruction focus.

I use this visual math with students with intellectual disabilities in an inclusive setting.
Enjoy.
