Product Description
Elements Quiz: This product contains four editable quizzes on the elements with answer keys. Each quiz is out of 20 marks with 2 extra marks for bonus questions.

The quizzes assess students’ knowledge of the element symbols and names of the first twenty elements. Two bonus questions are asked about the element names and symbols of 13 optional bonus elements (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Br, Ag, Sn, I, Au, Hg, Pb). I only encourage students to study for the bonus elements after they have the 20 first elements completely memorized. The bonus questions are nice to challenge and encourage the students who want to do more.

This product is also found in the:

The Elements Editable Lesson Bundle for 30% OFF.

Entire Chemistry Unit Editable All in One Bundle for 40% OFF.

(2) The 11th question is a bonus and asks students to provide the element name for one of the 13 bonus elements (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Br, Ag, Sn, I, Au, Hg, Pb) when they are given the element symbol.

I provide Versions A, B, C and D of this quiz. They all contain the same format but allows teachers the flexibility of staggering the different quizzes around the desks to prevent cheating, or gives teachers the option of allowing students a couple of “practice” quizzes before they get the one that counts.
