Product Description
I created this resource to help my students distinguish between elements, molecules, and compounds on the most basic level.

Students will get practice in writing chemical formulas, identifying whether a given substance is an element, compound, or molecule (or more than one), creating a visual representation of a given substance, identifying the number of atoms of each element, the total number of atoms, the number of molecules, and the number of elements.

A student handout and teacher answer key are provided.
