Product Description
My Elements of Art Lessons package has been so popular I created Elements of Art Lessons: 2nd Edition for all you Art lovers like me! This is packed with even more great stuff that can be used alongside the 1st Edition or on its own! I have used this when I teach the same group of kids two years in a row and want to mix up the lessons a little, but still incorporate the Elements of Art into my teaching.

This package has been designed for Elementary School aged students art classes, more specifically first to fourth grade. From this package students will learn about the Art Elements: Line, Color, Value, Shape, Form, Space and Texture. During lessons I also address Art Principles: Pattern, Variety, Unit, Contrast, Rhythm, Proportion, Balance and Emphasis. Students learn how artists use these elements and principles as well as their senses and personal experiences to create works of art!

Included in this package are my exemplars, a Teacher Master and a Black Line Master for each lesson. Typically one element takes two weeks or lessons to complete. I start the first week with the Black Line Master lesson portion, which is followed by the project to correspond with each element.

I hope you have a great year in art embracing your student’s creative sides and fostering their inner Mini Michelangelo’s and Little Leonardo’s!
