HOW TO PREP:

-Photocopy or print the Task Cards as color or black and white. Use as single lessons or as glue-ins for sketchbooks or as sub tub resources or as student choice-based resources.

-Use choice mediums! This resource allows you to use your choice of art mediums. Direct your students as to what art mediums you want them to use or you can let them decide.

-Print, cut, and laminate if you want. Use as loose cards you can assign or hole-punch corners and put and ring through and keep them together. Alternatively you can keep them in an envelope or zip loc bag.

-You can use these for your own lessons or use as part of a maternity/parental leave resource or in a sub tub or in an art center or you can use for fast finishers.

HOW TO USE:

-Look over the task cards to preview the lesson prompts

-INDIVIDUAL lessons: Decide if you will use each task card individually and use them or glue-in lessons for sketchbooks. Use for art lesson ideas and save time & paper.

-CHOICE-BASED LEARNING: Photocopy and use as choice-based learning for students. Each card gives a prompt but not a finished product allowing more student choice.

-CHOICE MEDIUMS: Use task cards with your choice of art mediums as no mediums are specified! You can choose to direct students for which art mediums to use OR you can give them full student choice. Some art mediums you can use could be: wax crayons, colored pencils, felt markers, watercolor paints, soft pastels, oil pastels, or tempera paint.
