I created these pages to help familiarize my students with recognizing and using lines, dots, and circles as they work on the Journeys Directed Drawings that I use with each lesson. These exercises are based on the work in the book Drawing with Children, by Mona Brookes. It's a great book to help kids of any age build their confidence and creativity in drawing.
These worksheets are great for independent work, and includes 4 pages of dot, circle, line, curve line, and angle line practice, as well as a blank template to create your own.
I've found these also improve fine motor skills, and have helped kids gain the control and recognition to improve their handwriting too!
Please reach out with any questions, and I would LOVE to hear your feedback on how these work in your classroom!
