The first section deals with definitions of timing terms from accelerando to vivace and tone terms from agitato to staccato, with two Word Search Practices to review. (Note: The Word Search assignments require that the student find the word by its definition; for example, one word is defined as “smooth and connected” __________ - the student must know that the answer is “legato” in order to know to search for that word.)
