Periodic Practice - Elements of Periodic Table - Flashcards, Games, Group Activity, Bulletin Board Pieces - Chemistry & Science 7-12 Grades
This “Dayley Supplement” will help get your students on their feet and engaged in learning the elements of the Periodic Table. No more just memorizing the chart. These items are multi-purpose, as explained in the 17 page preview file, and include hands-on learning, individually and in groups.
NOTE: There are 40 element cards in two versions, totaling 80 cards. The first set has a dotted line to fold/cut for specific uses. The second set, with a purple border, does not have the dotted line. Depending on the use (suggested uses are induced) you may prefer one version over the other, so I included both.
Targeted Standard: Students will understand that all matter in the universe has a common origin and is made of atoms, which have structure and can be systematically arranged on the periodic table.
Targeted Objective: Correlate atomic structure and the physical and chemical properties of an element to the position of the element on the periodic table
