**These elephant math mats were updated on June 26, 2014. The mats were spruced up a bit, with new fonts, new product thumbnails and links added back to my store.**
These elephant mats can be used with manipulatives or play dough to provide children with practice counting and identifying numerals as well as creating and comparing sets in a variety of settings.
Materials Included in this Set:
-Nine 8 1/2 x 11” math mats of single elephants holding a number from 1 to 9.
-One 11 x 17” math mat that has all nine elephants together on the page.
Instructions; Copy these files onto heavy card stock (I think glossy card stock looks the best.) Laminate and put out with manipulatives (erasers, plastic counters, or even real peanuts if you have no peanut allergies in your classroom.) You can also put the mats out with play dough and let the students add their own play dough pieces.
