I don't know about you, but I absolutely LOVE Mo Willems, and I especially love his Elephant & Piggie books! This pack includes resources for 5 Elephant & Piggie books, including:
-Let's Go For a Drive!
-Happy Pig Day!
-I Am Invited to a Party!
-Should I Share My Ice Cream?
-We Are in a Book!
This pack includes:
Pages 2 & 3: Story Map and Cut & Paste pieces: The story map can either be filled out by hand, or the cut & paste pieces can be used for non-readers.
Pages 5 & 6: Character Descriptions: These sheets can be used to describe character traits of Elephant and Piggie, or to describe an elephant and a pig.
Pages 7-16: Story Comprehension: Level I comprehension pages provide a choice of 3 answers. I like to use these pages with Do-A-Dot markers. Level 2 comprehension pages provide a space for the student to write an answer.
Pages 17-20: Sequencing Cards: Use the cards on page 18-20 with the mat on page 17 to practice sequencing story events.
Pages 21-30: Pragmatics Units: “Good Friend or Bad Friend” sheets require the student to identify whether behavior from the story is good friend behavior or bad friend behavior. “How Does He Feel?” sheets require the student to identify how the character feels in a situation from the story. These pages can also be used with Do-a-Dot markers.
Pages 31-32: Preposition task cards: Cut and laminate, use to practice prepositions receptively or expressively.
