One of my favorite holiday traditions is our classroom Elf on the Shelf. Instead of reporting naughty behaviors to Santa, our elf is simply there to provide us with story topics. We begin by voting on his name using our graphing page. Then, after our elf introduces himself, we write about him on the "Meet" page and include a photo. Each day he gets himself into some kind of mishap and we get to take pictures of him and create stories to explain what happened. We use this digital journal to track the story of our elf. If you have access to technology and apps like Notability, this pack loads nicely into those programs. I also use it in Book Creator and save each page as an image to be loaded in as a background photo. If you'd rather take paper to pencil, or if you don't "Elf", this journal is gorgeous in a classroom library or as a holiday keepsake. However you choose to use it, I know your kids will love the bright pages and fun graphics.
