This fun game is a great kinesthetic activity for practicing multiplication facts!
The game includes a multiplication table with some missing facts and mischievous elves peeking around the back. The elves have stolen some of the numbers and hidden them around the room! The students have to find the elves with the numbers and place them on the chart in the correct position. (The teacher hidden the elf cut outs around the room before the students arrive.)
The chart can be projected onto a whiteboard, wall, screen, smartboard, or other flat surface. The elves with the stolen numbers can be printed in color or black and white. They can be printed on regular copy paper but printing on card stock and laminating will make them last for years!
The game can be adapted for play in teams (For example, team 1 has to collect all the numbers stolen by the female elf and team 2 has to collect all the numbers stolen by the male elf -- who can finish first?!).
As always, I appreciate all feedback!
