Meet the Illustrator: Dietra DeRose is a professional pet photographer. She enjoys training and caring for animals, especially her Cocker spaniels and ferrets. Dietra's work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and in advertisements for Marshall's Ferrets. Her ferrets have won numerous awards in show at the Ferret Fandango, an annual ferret competition which she loves attending. This is Dietra's first book.
