This product adds a fun and useful spin to the holiday tradition “Elf on the Shelf.” If your class is anything like mine, they are super excited for Christmas, have their lists ready, and continue to ask me if I have a classroom elf. I also have a very competitive group of boys and group of girls that could be nicer to each other at times. So to add a spin, this elf challenges the class to spread kindness and perform at least one random act of kindness each day. The elf will provide a new idea for a random act of kindness (RAOK) each day (18 are include). Students are then asked to write about their acts of kindness in a journal each morning (voila!! Morning work is ready!). There is also a reflection page at the end of the journal on how these acts of kindness made them feel.
