Along with Elf on the Shelf, more book companions that go along with these Christmas crafts include, but certainly are not limited to the following:
How to Catch an Elf
The Littlest Elf
As students start to talk about the little elves invading their homes, this craft will make the perfect addition to your classroom! This is an open ended drawing craft, so you can align it to what best fits the students in your classroom.
A few ideas include:
-students draw something silly their elves did at home
-students draw something the classroom elf did at school
-draw pictures of an elf from a story you’ve read
Add their drawings to this giant elf craft for an adorable Christmas display!
Note: In our transitional kindergarten classroom, we complete this craft over the course of two days. On the first day, we draw. We color and cut out the head. On the second day, we cut and glue the rest of the craft pieces to complete the project.

Let’s Get Krafty!
Krazy for Kindyland crafts are created for students ages preschool through third grade. Products are designed with efficiency in mind, as I certainly understand the KrAzY schedule of a teacher! Craft pieces are also designed to use as much paper space as possible, as conservation is another constant thought on the busy teacher’s mind. Depending on the craft, you might choose to slightly enlarge the pieces based on the needs and ages of your students, the time of the school year you complete the craft, and/or your preferences. It is helpful to have students lay out their plan before gluing.
Krazy for Kindyland crafts are compiled into value packs, so be sure to check those out before purchasing individual products among the same theme.
