Elicitation means students are drawing out these old vocabulary words from each other. Meant as a review for a Spanish 2 class and based on the Paso a Paso 1 textbook chapter divisions, but can be used in any Spanish class that has covered basics like family, food, and the house.
To use, print 4-6 to a page and laminate.
Groups of 4 students get their cards with a topic. Tell them they will be giving clues for other teams to guess the words. If another team is able to guess, both teams get a point.
Groups prepare and practice SPANISH clues that will elicit the vocabulary from the other groups. Share strategies they can use to elicit their words (my suggestions and example are included).
Guesses are limited to one. First hand in air from a team gets to guess first. Tally points of each group as they successfully elicit the vocabulary items from the other groups.
Including my example card there are 32 cards with 5-8 vocabulary words each.
