This mini-project serves to expose students to Wiesel's unique writing style in "Night." It involves having students create a large map to display their identifications of different writing techniques in the story.
I encouraged my students to use a bubble map where they had the technique in one bubble, a quote that serves as an example of the quote, and then an explanation of the technique's effect in the story. I had students complete these on large sheets of paper, but it can easily be redesigned or edited to suit your classroom's needs.
