Product Description
This set includes activities to support phonemic awareness and phonics. It includes picture cards to help students segment words and read cvc words.

You get both the boxes that represent how a word was spelled and how many phonemes.

For example, egg has 3 letters but only 2 phonemes. You would get 2 cards for egg: one with 2 boxes (phonemes) and one with 3 boxes (spelling).
Crab has 4 letters and 4 sounds, so there will just be one crab pictures with 4 boxes.

It includes an ink friendly version as well as color!

This set is great for Kindergarten and First Grade reading intervention or RTI groups or literacy workstations.

This set has a mixture of CVC words as well as 4 letter short vowel words!

Each picture card comes with a blank version, a version that has the CVC word spelled, and a third version that only includes the vowels (see thumbnails for examples).

There is also a file included that has pictures and the letters in a smaller format that students can cut out.
