Based on the Story "Elmer", by David McKee
I print this out on construction paper that I have to cut to fit our 11x17" scanner.
Can be printed out smaller :-)
Lesson: 18 spots for students to fill (Although if there are extra students there is plenty of space to write outside of Elmer.
Each shape will be filled with something that makes them unique or special. Depending on the Grade Level either the Students or I will write for them in different colored markers/sharpies.
It is great to display in the classroom as a reminder that we are all unique and special in our own way. It is also a great way to learn something new about fellow classmates (and even teacher)!
