One of the most important communication skills students can learn is how to write an email that is formatted appropriately. After years of receiving emails with text language, spelling errors, slang, and with no format or organization, I started teaching these skills!
This is a short, but informational lesson that can be done at any point in the school year. I'll even go through this lesson twice in one year if I see students starting to slack and get lazy with their emails.
This mini lesson will give them skills to successfully communicate with their teachers in high school, future professors, or future coworkers/employers.
