What educators are saying
Description
Empower your students with the skills to write effective and appropriate emails. Email etiquette isn’t intuitive. Students need to learn email etiquette to communicate effectively in the classroom and the real world. With this lesson, you’ll ensure those “text message” style emails are long gone. In their place, you’ll find well-written formal emails with the correct formatting.
In addition, students will learn real-world email skills, such a why and how to use carbon copy, blind carbon copy, reply all, forwarding, attachments and more.
After your mini-lesson, students will show what they know with a fun scenario activity to ensure they’ve mastered all email writing skills. An email template they can use for this assignment is included, or they can send a real email directly to you.
This unit includes
- an editable teacher presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
- an editable student visual notes guide with an exemplary email example text in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
- an editable scenario cards in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
- an editable email template in Microsoft PowerPoint and Google Slides
