This teaching pack is designed to specifically teach and practice the skill of properly and purposefully embedding and integrating textual evidence in writing. The nature of this lesson provides students with three student-friendly methods, examples, and ample practice to introduce them integrating textual evidence. They will have plenty of opportunities to learn, practice, and demonstrate their understanding – from punctuation human matching, to video tutorials, to guided practice, to guided research, to a #tweetstorm – with this modern teaching pack.

Plus, I've provided several tools to help students be successful with this skill after the lecture!

Each of my ELA skills "How to Teach It" Lesson Packs includes a teacher's guide lesson plan, an easy-to-use PPT lecture explaining the concept, guided practice, opportunity for collaborative and individual practice, and a form of assessment.
