This plan relies on YouTube videos to teach the lesson, if you do not have access to YouTube these lessons will not work.

Student Activites
In this plan, students are asked to complete a notes page while watching the video and the sub will go over the answers (answer key included).
In the follow up activity, students are given an informational text and asked to analyze the text (worksheet provided) and create a graphic organizer.
  
There are 6 informational texts in total. I have a version of this activity that uses learning stations and additional information and requirements as well.
The 6 informational text topics are:
•Gray wolves in Yellowstone •12 Invasive Species •Burmese Pythons in the Everglades •Brook Trout as an Indicator Species •Climate Change and its Impact on Cold Water Fish •Declining Numbers of Frogs and Toads (Indicator Species)
