This student made book is perfect for little learners to practice numbers, counting, reading, writing, and fine motor skills. It's a great way to teach number words too. You can also use this activity to practice the concept of "hidden partners" or number parts by using two or even three colors to make the page. Completing the pages makes a great independent learning center for young students. The book can then be used to practice reading and counting. My students have added them to their book boxes and the books are read independently each week.

Each page has the numeral, tally marks, and a simple sentence - I see #word bears. Pages include numbers 0-10. There is also a cover and end page as well. There are many ways to complete the pages... rubber stamps, stickers, drawings, or the paper teddies included with the set. There is also a set of pages with the teddies already on them for students to color.

Please take a look at the preview file to see EXACTLY what you are getting. I hope you and your students enjoy this fun little number book and emergent reader!
Happy Teaching!
