These easy readers are for students beginning to read. The sight words used are: work, word, write, being, their, first, look, new.
These words put together all the skills from the other early emergent and emergent reader packs along with consonant blends at the beginning and end of words, and the Silent E (long e) vowel sound. Vowel-consonant-e. This set of Easy Readers also introduces multi-syllabic words, or multi-syllable words, and adding suffixes (-s, -ed, -es, -ing) to these multi-syllabic words.
CVC words are perfect for students beginning to put letter sounds together. This pack includes digraphs, glued sounds like /am/, /an/, /ol/ (all), /ank/, /ink/, /onk/, /unk/, /ang/, /ing/, /ong/, /ung/, and adding suffix -s, -ing, -ed, vowel consonant e (silent e), and multiple syllable words.
There is a page of the sight words for you to print on cardstock and laminate for the students to work with. There are 32 emergent reader sentences. This pack aligns with Common Core State Standard RF.1.1, RF.1.2, RF.1.4.a, RF.1.4.b.
