This is a group project, provided in a word document that you could tweak, which involves a lot of higher level thinking.
1) Assign each group a poem
2) They have to analyze the poem for overall meaning of content, poetic/literary devices, theme, and connections to transcendentalist ideas
3) Find a critical source that backs up their interpretation of the poem
4) Write a lesson plan, design a presentation, and create a handout
5) Play teacher to the rest of the class (who will later have a quiz)
