Product Description
Emily Dickinson is one of America's best loved poets. Her timeless themes, her unique style, her steadfast resolve and dedication to writing all make her one of the greatest American voices in our history. This PowerPoint is an introduction to her life and times with a focus on home and the Homestead, her family, her talents and interests, all with reflective questions embedded within for discussion and extension activities. I was lucky enough to take several classes to the Emily Dickinson Museum, the Homeplace, and her brother's house, the Evergreens, in Amherst, Massachusetts. Use this as a teaching tool to present Emily Dickinson, her home, her world, and her poetry. Enjoy and best, Rockermom
