Suggestions for Use:
I have been using punch cards in my classroom as a way for my students and me to track their behavior. I use a clip chart to keep students motivated to do well. When students end their day on "Super Student" or "Outstanding Student," they get to pick out a reward coupon. But, as an extra incentive, each time a student is on "Super Student," they are making their way to the "Hall of Fame" and earn a hole punch in their PUNCH CARD. There are 10 spaces and once they are all filled up, their clip "retires" and they get a new one! You and your students can track how many times they land on "Super Student" with punch cards that can be easily stored in a pocket chart! Once their card is filled up, students get to take their card home and start a new one.
TIP: An easy way to manage this at the end of the day is to have the students who are on "Super Student" place their card in a basket, bag, pouch, or a container so you can hole punch their cards all at once. It's a quick and easy process and motivates student to demonstrate positive behavior throughout the day!
