This is a PDF download for my Emoji-themed Self Evaluation Posters, Exit Tickets, popsicle response sticks, and student-assessment check in cards! The perfect classroom assessment pack.
Included in this set are five classroom posters, each with a different emoji face expressing varying levels of understanding. The self evaluation levels are: "I've totally got this!", "I'm getting it!", "I could use some help!", "I don't get it!", and "I'm so lost!"
Each poster has a short caption below the emoji, offering a more detailed explanation for that level of understanding.
Additionally, there are 3" emojis and circles with the titles from the posters for you to print, cut, laminate back to back, and attach a popsicle stick to use as quick self evaluation tools for your students! Simply make copies and your students will be able to quickly hold up the emoji that matches their level of understanding at any given time.
Last, there is a self-evaluating emoji exit ticket! They are half sheets of paper so two fit on a page. Your students will simply color in the face that matches their level of understanding of any given task. Use this slip as an exit ticket after teaching a lesson, having a small group, etc. and collect the slips to determine your next teaching steps!
*** Recently added: There are now student check-in cards that fit perfectly inside the Target square adhesive labels and correspond to the Emoji posters. Secure a Target adhesive label on your students' desks or tables and supply them with the cards. As you are teaching a task or the students are working, they can switch out the card to display their level of understanding without using a public survey type of assessment such as holding up fingers or thumbs up/ thumbs down.
Thanks for checking out this listing! Ratings/ feedback are super appreciated and you can earn TPT points! :)
