Emoji Writing Partner Cards

Use emoji/cartoon cards to assign writing partners or peer editors. They may also be used for assignments - in any subject area - to quickly and randomly get students working together.

Select your favorite emoji/cartoon sets for the number of students in your class (i.e. If you have 24 students in your class, you will need 12 matching sets.).

Simply, pass out the emoji/cartoon cards to your class. When students locate their partners by matching the picture on their card to the picture on their partner's card, they’ll be ready to go.

If you have an odd number of students, add a blank notebook card. Tell students that whoever draws that card, may join any pair in the room.
