DIGITAL GOOGLE CLASSROOM - Are you looking for fun ways to get your students engaged and writing. Students will love our Interactive Digital Emoji Narrative Writing imaginative choices they are given to write their own narrative story. The product is fun and engaging, but most importantly, it is rigorous. Students will learn how to apply the development of a plot line to their narrative writing. The plot line graphic organizer gives the scaffolding students need when learning plot line and continues to reinforce the understanding of story elements in a narrative story.

It is designed to work with upper elementary and upward grades for the following ELA standard:

  • CCSS W.3 Narrative Writing - Write narratives to develop real or imagined experiences or events using effective technique, well-chosen details, and well-structured event sequences.

Digital Writing Product Description

  • Students will be engaged with creating a plotline using various interactive emojis.
  • The emojis are made to "drag and drop" wherever the students want on the plotline.
  • The students will organizing their story into the interactive plotline graphic organizer.
  • Journal pages are included for students to write their narrative story. It also includes "drag and drop" emojis to help illustrate their story.
  • An interactive student self-grading rubric is included to help guide the student as they write. The students can "drag and drop" their scores into the rubric. The rubric allows students to reflect on their writing and will serve as an extra guide to help the students to write their story.
