Promoting emotional understanding is huge with all kids - why not make it fun and engaging with hands-on resources?
This bundle includes 5 comprehensive activities to help students develop emotional understanding. The emotions covered are: angry, bored, confused, disappointed, embarrassed, excited, happy, nervous, proud, sad, scared, and silly.
The 5 comprehensive activities include:
-Write the Room: post picture cards up around the room and have students record the written name of the emotion on the provided recording sheet.
-Clip Cards: students identify the emotion picture or emotion word that matches using a clothespin, paperclip, or dry erase marker.
-Bingo: 10 unique emotion picture bingo cards & one set of caller cards
-I Have Who Has: students will use listening and attending skills to complete the loop during the emotion game! Each card has emotion words and visuals.
-Write and Color: a worksheet for each of the targeted emotions. Students color a clip art picture of an emotion and write about a time they felt this emotion in their life.
