This early elementary school classroom guidance lesson introduces Kindergarten or early learners to 4 basic emotions (happy, sad, angry, scared). Students listen to a story about Benji Bunny's big feelings and then play an interactive game in which they demonstrate facial expressions for emotions and share about a time when they felt a particular emotion.
Includes: lesson plan (objectives, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment), printable story, PPT story, visual aids, coloring page, and objectives assessment checklist.
I use this lesson with Kindergarten, but it is appropriate for grades PreK-1.
This lesson is also included in my Kindergarten classroom guidance lesson bundle
and ULTIMATE classroom guidance lesson bundle!
