Do you have difficulty getting students to talk about his or her emotions? Then this is the game for you! The language of play IS a students first language. So use their language to your advantage by engaging in play by using this emotions game.
The game includes 20 unique cards. Each card when coupled with another card will only have ONE matching emotion EVERY time. Identify the matching emotion and talk about it. The person with the most matches wins... but the real winner talks about his or her emotions.
When have you felt this emotion? If you no longer want to feel "anger" what can you do to deal with it? Tell me about a time you felt this way... etc.
