Parenting is an emotional rollercoaster. But let's not forget, our children's emotions are just as important. When we talk about human bodies and our control center--the brain--we always talk about things like 5 senses. What about emotions? It is so very important to talk about how we feel, and why we feel the way we do.
Children love other children and they love their faces and facial expressions. We like to use a mirror and mimic the expressions we see on the cards. Great conversation starter. Tell me about a time when you felt scared, sad, happy, etc. Helps you learn a lot about your child as they explain when and why they experienced these feelings.
This set includes 12 three part cards.
