This resource includes a selection of my emotions resources. It is designed for students who may struggle with identifying emotions such as students with autism. Both basic and complex emotions are included. A range of resource types such as worksheets, Digital Boom Cards and interactive books are included. Please see the previews and read the descriptions of each item before making a purchase.

Emotions Worksheets and Activities
69 pages of worksheets and activities for teaching 16 emotions both basic and complex. Emotions and feelings include angry, sad, happy, shy, disgusted, embarrassed, frustrated, proud, hurt, bored, confused, interested, excited, shocked, scared and tired. Both clip art worksheets and worksheets with real life photographs are included. Worksheets are designed so that students in your class can be working at their level of understanding (For example, some students may be sorting angry, happy and sad while others are sorting confused, disgusted and proud). You could also staple each set of worksheets together and have students work through them over a period of time as their knowledge increases. Also includes self regulation posters and mini books.
Emotions Digital Boom Cards
This listing includes 3 digital Boom Card™ decks for teaching students to recognise feelings and emotions. Each deck features 15 cards, each with a clear real life emotion photograph (45 cards in total). The three decks are at different levels of difficulty allowing you to assign a deck based on student ability level. This is a digital product, It cannot be printed. On purchasing this product you will receive a PDF document containing a link to your Boom Cards.
Deck one: happy, sad and angry.
Deck two: excited, scared and bored
Deck three: tired, proud, confused and worried. Please note deck 3 gives students a choice of 4 emotions to choose from on each card, while decks one and two provide 3 emotions.
Interactive lift-the-flap books
These 2 interactive lift-the-flap books will assist you in teaching the emotions happy, sad, angry, shy, excited, bored, scared, worried and proud. Great for students with autism and other special needs. Your students will love lifting the flaps and using the visuals.
This book is intended for those students who have moved beyond recognising basic emotions. Students will need to be working on advanced emotions such as proud and bored.
Basic Emotions Interactive Books (Happy, Sad, Angry)
These 3 interactive books are designed to introduce the concept of the basic emotions (happy, sad and angry). Each emotion has its own 8 page book plus color cover and 8 interactive pieces.
Feelings and Emotions Game Board with 102 cards
Players take turns rolling the dice and moving forward around the board. After every move, players select a card that matches the color on their space. Players read and do what is required for that card (e.g. act it out, identify the emotion). The first player to reach the end of the board wins. You could also use the cards as flashcards without the need for the game board.
Students will have to:
-Act out emotions.
-Identify emotions from photographs.
-Remember and share a time they felt different emotions.
-Share how they might feel in particular scenarios.
Feelings + Emotions Play Dough Cards (+Clip Cards)
Review basic emotions and feelings, in a hands-on and engaging way, with these Play Dough cards. 16 play dough cards included (happy, sad, angry, proud, shocked, embarrassed, shy, disgusted, confused, scared, interested, grumpy, hurt, tired and silly). Each card features an emotion image and asks students to identify the emotion out of three options (with images for each emotion). Students use play dough balls to show their answer. Card sized cover page, answer sheet and basic marking checklist also included.
